It is not uncommon to find people who abandoned their dreams because of the fear of criticisms. Indubitably, criticism is like a huge punch on the face though the intentions for such disapproval or censure may differ, it could create strong feelings of discouragement which in turn could result in discontinuing one’s goals or ambitions for a while or even forever. There are people who remain un-flinched in the pursuit of their dreams notwithstanding the magnitude of criticisms they encounter. But what attributes do these people possess that they never allowed condemnation to stand on the way to achieving their dreams? After an encounter with a movie titled “Florence Foster Jenkins” reflecting the life of a woman called Florence Foster Jenkins, I discovered that ‘passion’ has to be one of those traits. It is not uncommon to find many adults who think that animation movies are childish. I particularly have many people around me who show no interest in animations; they see it as yesterday’s fun, something that they have outgrown today. I am an adult who enjoys the beauty of the art of animations and haven’t outgrown animations. There is really nothing childish about enjoying a unique and spectacular way of telling stories, the captivating scenery of creatures who are made to look like real humans and animals but do not have the limitations that we have. They could walk on water, fly without wings and do all manner of things that sometimes remind us of how limitless we truly are if we think outside the box and realize how powerful we are. I will not outgrow Disney movies like Peter Pan, Tinker Bell, Tarzan and many others. I love Shrek, Frozen, Inside Out and Chicken Run but my favorite still remains Hercules.    In the middle of the night, Bimpe rose from her bed, pacing the floor, deep in thought. She had been troubled since she listened to a message preached by the late Pastor Bimbo Odukoya titled ‘How to tell I am in love.’ Listening to that message was actually a coincidence. She had intended to listen to John Legend’s ‘All of me’ but she coincidentally clicked on the message and decided to listen to it. In her sermon, Pastor Bimbo talked about the difference between love and a crush; and how important it was for a man and a lady in a relationship to define their relationship. She went on to advise any lady involved in a relationship that had not been defined to take a bold step and ask her partner what the relationship meant to him.  Her message touched Bimpe’s heart, opened her eyes and brought up so many questions about her relationship with Deji, it needed to be defined. He wasn’t different from his kind that regards Africa, a big and populous continent as a country. Why would he tell her to go to Africa like Africa was a small country?                                      EPISODE 1       “Mary, is that you?” Peter asked in a weak voice as soon as he heard the sound from a slow shuffling gait after the door to his room was gently shut. When he didn’t get any response, he strained his eyes to look at the door, but his blurred vision wouldn’t let him clearly see the person that walked into his room. “Mary,” he said for a second time and when he didn’t get a response again, he struggled to get out of his bed, but as he tried he groaned.
